This policy explains what WOTNU Cinematic Prompter (“WOTNU”, “we”) at studio.wotnu.com collects when you use it, and why. WOTNU is run by AI With Charlie in the United Kingdom. Contact: aiwithcharlie@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Sign-in details from ChatGPT. When you choose “Continue with ChatGPT”, OpenAI tells us a stable account identifier, and your name and email address if available. We use these only to sign you in and show who is signed in. They are kept in an encrypted session cookie on your device. On our server, your account is known only by a one-way coded ID made from that identifier, not by your email.
- Your ChatGPT plan permission (only if you allow it). If you let WOTNU use your ChatGPT plan for AI, OpenAI gives us access tokens for that purpose. We keep them encrypted on our server, use them only to run the AI requests you ask for, and delete them when you sign out or delete your data. WOTNU never sees your ChatGPT password, conversations or payment details.
- Projects you save. If you press “Save to account”, we store that project’s text and settings so you can load it again. Only you can access it.
- Briefs you send to AI. When you press Generate or Refine, the text of your brief is sent to OpenAI with your plan permission to write the prompt. We ask OpenAI not to store it (store:false). We do not keep a copy of AI requests or results on our server.
- Drafts in your browser. The studio autosaves drafts in your own browser’s storage. They stay on your device.
Reference images you preview in the studio are never uploaded. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your data.
Who processes data for us
- OpenAI: sign-in and AI requests (OpenAI’s own privacy policy also applies to your ChatGPT account).
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Upstash: encrypted storage for saved projects and plan permissions.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in (8 hours) and one short-lived cookie that secures the sign-in step (10 minutes).
How long we keep data
Plan permissions: until you sign out, delete your data, or 30 days without use. Saved projects: until you delete them. Session cookies expire automatically.
Your rights
You can delete your saved project and plan permission at any time using “Delete my WOTNU data” at the bottom of the studio. You can also revoke WOTNU’s access in your ChatGPT settings. Under UK data protection law you may ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Age
WOTNU is for people aged 18 or over.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
